Our Values

The values our school community decided mattered most were:

• Respect

• Kindness

• Ambition

In session 24-25 we have embarked on reviewing our school values. Our rigorous consultation ensured that our school community were part of the process. Pupils were critical to the success of the process. Respect quickly came through as an important choice, so this was agreed on in the early stages. Pupil voice allowed us to narrow down to 5 other values that pupils would vote one. These were:

· Kindness

· Creativity

· Ambition

· Responsibility

· Honesty

Collaboratively, staff and our Head Team took on the exciting role of Values Champions and ran campaigns in the lead up to our Values vote. Our values videos were played in class to support young people in their choices before they were signed in at the polling station and votes cast!

Our staff and pupils are now working collaboratively to create further details of the ‘Values in Action’ and embed opportunities to celebrate the values in our curriculum.
