What happened last week?
We had excursions for our Advanced Higher Geography pupils.
Our Advanced Higher Modern Studies pupils attended a virtual conference with the Chaplain at HMP Glenochil.
On Wednesday we hosted our annual Annual Exhibition and Craft Fayre. There were around 30 stalls of local vendors, including young people selling their crafts. In the assembly hall was a showcase of the work and talent of our young people across multiple year groups in the Art Department.
On Friday 21st Amy Hamilton from DYW organised 5 of our young people to participate in the Business GingrTech Competition. The pupils competed in an online business simulation competition on where they took on other Borders secondary schools in 3 rounds of running a business for 26 weeks in 26 minutes!
