At school, Lucy has made herself known to faculties across the school through her work in English, Business, Geography and one of her top subjects, PE. Lucy used the skills acquired in these subjects to collect her bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh awards. Trekking through the Lake District and camping overnight never stopped Lucy from taking every step towards the great honour of the DofE award. The cold of the camping wasn’t a worry after spending some of her time on the slopes, skiing. Duke of Edinburgh is such a wonderful experience that can easily make you stand out from your peers. Lucy knows that after completing her final year at Earlston she’ll be taking a gap year to travel and volunteer before heading off to university.
